  1. This is a wonderful Photoshop alternative that is geared up, especially to use on a Mac. It also supports features like Fullscreen, tabs, and split view. Paint.net-(Windows, free) Paint.net is a Windows-based alternative to the editing apps which Microsoft shipped with versions of Windows.

  • Very powerful imagery. The intensity of the moment is remarkable. It makes you feel a very tense emotions. Is he going thru such tough times in his life that he is willing to do bodily harm? Like others have said, great job on the eye and the sweat drips on his skin. I agree with the knife needing a bit more shading as well. But, and this is just to help you do better, the nose looks a bit disproportionate to the rest of the face. It needs to be a bit bigger IMO. I hope that helped ^_^.

The Four Agreements©, was published in 1997 and has sold around 10 million copies. It has been on the New York Times Bestselling list for almost a decade. Everything we do is based on agreements we have made - agreements with ourselves, with other people, with God, with life. But the most important agreements are the ones we make with ourselves.

The Four Agreements are:

  1. Be Impeccable With Your Word.

  2. Don't Take Anything Personally.

  3. Don't Make Assumptions.

  4. Always Do Your Best.

In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, The Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love.

In Part 1 of this 2-part video, we learn about the “domestication” of humans and how all the rules and values of our family and society are imposed on us through a system of punishment and reward. As little children, our true nature is to love and be happy, to explore and enjoy life; we are completely authentic. But then we learn to be what others think we “should” be, and because it’s not okay for us to be what we are, we start pretending to be what we are not. By the time we are teenagers, we’ve learned to judge ourselves, punish ourselves, and reward ourselves according to agreements that we never even chose. The Four Agreements help us to break self-limiting agreements and replace them with agreements that bring us freedom, happiness, and love.

In Part 2 of this 2-part video, we learn about the Book of Law that rules our mind and the inner judge that makes us suffer because we never measure up to our “image of perfection.” All of our normal tendencies are lost in the process of domestication, and we begin to search for what we have lost. We search for freedom because we are no longer free; we search for happiness because we are no longer happy; we search for beauty because we no longer believe we are beautiful. What we are searching for is our “self.” With practice, The Four Agreements help us to recover our “authentic self” and it’s the greatest gift that we can give ourselves.
